Rutgers Business School –Newark & New Brunswick (RBS) is a two-campus business school with a presence in both Rutgers University – New Brunswick and Rutgers University-Newark.
This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:
This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:
- Oversee the professional mentoring of RBS students, student leadership programs, or any other student programs as assigned at Rutgers Business School in Newark and New Brunswick.
- Reporting to the Director of SEER, the Senior Program Coordinator will organize, implement, and continuously improve mentoring and leadership development initiatives that connect students with alumni and corporate partners.
- Manage day-to-day operations, recruitment and communications, mentor/mentee matching logistics, event planning, and data tracking for the program for which they are responsible.
- This position will prepare semester and annual reports, and collaborate across RBS and university offices to deliver high-quality experiences that advance student engagement and professional development.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge of program design and execution, coordination, communication, data collection, and reporting.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in program coordination or administrative functions in higher education, student development, alumni relations, or a related setting.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with multiple constituencies; handle confidential information with discretion.
- Travel between campuses and occasional off-campus sites; some evening and weekend hours required.
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, operation of standard office equipment, bending or standing as necessary, and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.
