Job Description Summary: At the direction of the Director of Marketing & Creative Services provides project management duties for the Global Marketing & Creative Services Project Work Request System. Collaborates with creative specialists in video, photography, and graphic design to produce marketing deliverables for campaigns and other marketing and promotional projects. Puts multimedia skills and copywriting skills to work to service a variety of creative projects. May also have special skills in video production, photography or graphic design. Assisting the Director of Marketing & Creative Services, helps provide creative services support for the Webster extended campus network and international campuses as needed. Works cooperatively to ensure all marketing projects are coordinated among the staff so that deadlines are met.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum three years of experience in the area of marketing and project management. Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of marketing and project management. Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related fields. Knowledge of college administration, enrollment management and student recruitment. Knowledge of advertising/media on the local, national and international levels. Effective written communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage numerous projects within designated deadlines. Demonstrated Multimedia Skills. This may come in the area of video production, graphic design and/or photography. Demonstrated copywriting skills. Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects accurately and on deadline. Ability to exercise important human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the University community.
Preferred Qualifications Five to seven years of experience in the area of marketing and project management. Demonstrated multimedia abilities with specialties in graphic design, photography, and/or video production. Expert abilities in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop. Basic understanding of web content management systems and a basic understanding of HTML coding.
Essential Duties Manages creative services projects as assigned and collaborates with GMC specialists as needed to see projects to completion. Coordinates and consults with key internal constituents, such as academic affairs and campus directors, in the development of creative and promotional products as needed. Develops key advertising messages compatible with brand platform, goals and message purpose. Organizes, writes and develops marketing and advertising deliverables as dictated by a variety of campaigns, annual initiatives, and the Project Work Request System. Collaborates with vendor partners to develop advertising and promotional assets as needed. Coordinates with the Director of Marketing & Creative Services to produce and distribute materials accurately and in a timely manner. Interfaces with outside suppliers of production art and monitors invoices for accuracy. Prepares vouchers and purchase order requisitions for approval of Director of Marketing and Creative Services. Performs other duties as assigned.
