The Office of University Communications and Marketing (UCM) has overall responsibility for marketing and brand management, media relations and content producing various print and web publications and communications for the university. The office optimizes the coordination of strategies and programs for these areas. The Marketing and Branding group reports up to the VP of Communications and Marketing and produces a wide range of print and digital marketing - from event invitations to integrated marketing campaigns - across all schools and university-wide campaigns. The group comprises Marketing Strategy, Creative Services, and Digital Services and oversees the university?s marketing strategy, brand messaging, visual identity, and directs marketing and lead-generation campaigns to support awareness, enrollment, and fundraising efforts.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, the UI/UX Producer is responsible for creating and maintaining user interfaces across a wide range of University digital properties, including websites, landing pages, and email templates. This role works with our business parters, project managers, and design team to translate visual designs into accessible, responsive, and high?quality front?end experiences that perform and track consistently across all devices and platforms.

? Write clean, well?structured, reusable, and accessible HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that is optimized for mobile and modern browsers.
? Translate visual designs into site themes and component?specific code for landing pages and websites, including Tufts.edu, Tufts Now, Alumni & Friends, Enrollment Landing Pages, and other University web and email properties.
? Develop and optimize email templates for HubSpot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
? Participate in all phases of development and deployment, including functional testing, to ensure reliable performance across breakpoints and devices.
- Write, test, and maintain front-end code for Drupal, Wordpress, and Hubspot websites. Track and troubleshoot bugs as they arise and uses version control software to track changes.
- GTM container administration support
- Work with project teams to understand front-end or tagging requirements and document them in user stories or tasks.
- Optimize email templates and content blocks for HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Outlook.
- Other development and production assignments, as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience with web applications / content management systems such as Drupal, Wordpress, and HubSpot
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS 3+
- Demonstrated ability writing clean and maintainable code
- Expertise in cross-browser compatibility and testing
- Distributed version control experience with Git
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Friendly, collaborative, and independent
- Ability to brainstorm creative solutions to problems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education experience a plus, but not required
- Experience collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team
- Experience ensuring compliance of web page content with W3C and Section 508 (ADA) accessibility standards preferred.
- Ongoing training will be provided to help keep up with current trends and requirements.
Pay Range
Minimum $72,500.00, Midpoint $90,700.00, Maximum $108,900.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
